HaMakom Yenacheim - It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Miki Schwartz z''l, father of Anne Marx, father-in-law to Michael, and grandfather of Joshua and Eitan.
Miki died early this morning in his sleep with his entire family at his side. After more than a decade of fighting cancer and decades of fighting everything bad that came his way including the Nazis, he continued fighting bravely until the end.
Miki's extended family and community will gather for a funeral on Thursday, April 8th, at 11 a.m. at El Camino Memorial Park (5600 Carroll Canyon Rd.), San Diego, 92121. Shiva will immediately follow at Anne's mother Betty's home (5095 Mt. La Platta Dr., San Diego, 92117). Shiva will also continue at her house in the evenings on Thursday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
There may be Berkeley gatherings late next week, and we will share any information that becomes available.
